Problems transferring money to bank.

Hi guys! So I’m struggling super bad . I downloaded Square app for a one time use. I did lawn care service for someone that only wanted to pay with square. And now after my verification process was complete , I am being asked to provide certification documents of my business , my invoices and other stuff involving a business . Which I DONT have . What can I do to get my money and avoid this . Please help

 You might be in a little of a pickle as you hold yourself out to be a business when you sign up for square.  Now you are a business, but a sole proprietorship.  What I recommend is, make out an invoice with your business name (yours if thats how you set it up), get the customer to sign it etc..  You can get a free ein number from the irs if you have employees.  I would check with your local county/municipality and see what the cost is for minimum business license if need be.

 

What you are encountering is square making sure people don't set up accounts for fraud purposes.  You might want to look at the cash app or something like that if you have someone that just wants to be able to send you money electronically, otherwise just insist on cash only and say no.  

 

All that said, account specific questions like this, you just have to contact support and wait on an answer.
