Is it possible to stop a refund.... I issued a refund on the wrong transaction

Hi, 

I have a retail business and this morning a sale was processed as a cash payment which was incorrect and it needed to be with Eftpos .

I did the sale again and the customer made the payment with eftpos. After the customer left with the goods i went back in to refund the original incorrect sale but i refunded the second sale made by eftpos. The refund is currently pending and the customer has the stock. IS it possible to stop the pending refund. your help will be much appreciated. Thank you
