1 more step to set up my square store under the new format. It won't let me setup my domain or change. What am I doing wrong and why can't I find someone that can help me through it?

HI, what kind of error message are you getting?  Are you on the free plan or paid?  Is your domain with Square or a different provider?

It says 404 Error and it continues to say my domain is published but when you push on it, the 404 error comes up

I'm free and it gave me a new site but when you click it, it doesn't work and so when I go to set up area, list domain site is the last area, which it will not let me do

HI, on the free Square plan you can "point" the domain to your site.  You need to upgrade to a paid plan to assign a domain.  Here is a Square Support page with info.
