Cannot find "Returns" info in API

When I look up a transaction (payment) on my Square Register (or Dashboard), I can see all items sold, and also any items returned, including any sales tax on those items (and the sales tax refunded on any returned items).  The V1 API shows me the total amount refunded in a transaction, but does not show me which items were returned, or how much of the refund was associated to sales tax of the returned items.  The info must exist because I can see it both on the register and in my dashboard.

Is there anyway to retrieve this information thru the API?  And if not, are there any plans to add the information to the API?

Hello @dougvan, I'm sorry for the frustraiton. I've just checked with our API Specialists and they confirmed there isn't a way to look up itemized refunds in our APIs at this time. As you mentioned, you'll only see the amount of the refund but not that items included in the refund or associaated sales tax. 

Hopefully this information will be available in future from the APIs, but I can't share a timelines here in the Community. We'll definitely announce any updates.
