Receipt email from contacts keeps typed characters if using autofill

When emailing a receipt to a customer, typing in a few characters in the email field will populate matching autofill options from save contacts (great feature!) The annoying thing is that the few typed characters are retained if the autofill is selected. For example, if I want to email a receipt and I type in "st" in the email field it will correctly give "steve.smith@mail.com" as an autofill option. If I select that option, it incorrectly maintains the first 2 characters that I typed so now the email says "ststeve.smith@mail.com" and I have to manually delete the "st" that I typed.
