Square integration w/ Zapier not pulling customer info

I'm using Zapier to connect Square to an online class/teaching system so I can charge for my classes. For some reason, the data pull from Square does not include the customer info (to make an account in the teaching system).

 

I've made both a "digital" item and a "membership" item and in both, I ask for name, email, phone, (and even address), but in both cases, everything is pulled except the customer info.

 

Zapier says it's on square's side, still trying to resolve what it could be that's making square not send the info.

 

Here are some other specs:

. I had the items "free" so I could test- no customer data sent

. Made the items $1 (so payment info would be recorded)- no customer data sent

 

What's weird is that when I used an invoice as test data everything is pulled over- is that because I manually make a 'customer' to send an invoice and I'm putting the data in vs using the data input into a sale?

So sorry to hear about the trouble with your integration between Square and Zapier. Definitely sounds frustrating, indeed. I appreciate you including so much specific info about troubleshooting you've tried - including the sale of 'free' items and priced purchases. 

 

I'm going to request a bit of information from you so that I can flag this over to our integration specialists and see if we can track down where the issue lays. Would you mind including a screenshot of your checkout process? Also, are you specifically asking for customer data and information within the checkout process? Finally, what device and browser are you using while running your test transactions?

 

I will keep an eye out for your response!
