API OAuth reauthorization

Hi! I started my business in April and had a couple of orders, then nothing until last night.  I am using Zen Cart for my website with the Square API for payments. I had a customer (thankfully also a friend) who tried to place an order last night, but the API did not process the payment because I had to "ReAuthorize" it.  After doing so, it appears to be back online, however, I now have to ask my customer to pay again.

How often do I need to reauthorize the API?  Is there a way to make it permanent?

The refresh of the token is something that Zen Cart handles, @HitchCraft.

 

Since Zen Cart is a partner of ours, you will need to reach out to them.

I found the information on setting up a cron job to handle automated refreshing of the token.
