FR: two way sync with customer's personal calendar client for rescheduled appointments

Super Seller

FR: two way sync with customer's personal calendar client for rescheduled appointments

Feature Request: two way sync with customer's personal calendar client (eg Google Calendar, Outlook etc.) for rescheduled appointments

When an appointment is rescheduled Square Appointments will not automatically update the original calendar entry in the customer's personal calendar; it instead creates a request in the customer's personal calendar for a brand new calendar event. If the customer does not delete the original event they will have two events, the first one being redundant. This will cause them confusion if they are then reminded at a later date by their calendar to attend the original appointment (which has in fact been rescheduled).

Provide two way sync with customer's personal calendar client (eg Google Calendar, Outlook etc.) so whenever an appointment is rescheduled the original calendar event in the customer's calendar client is updated.

@tranguyen, please pass this on to your product team for their consideration.

Thank you.

yes! it seems like the emails aren't using the correct code from https://schema.org/Reservation for this.

i don't think they are using correct unique identifiers for gmail etc. to be able to link the original booking with the modification (or they're missing something else)
