Feature Request: Split Payments by Items on Square Terminal

Would it be possible to enable us to select items when it comes to split payments for customers. It would make life easier if we could select the different items on a ticket that the customer wants to pay for. Not everyone wants to split the bill 3 ways and if the customer only wants to pay for what they have eaten etc, we have to manually work it out.

Hi @Thj, thank you for reaching out! If you are using the Square Point of Sale on an iPad, you should see the option to split tickets by items. To split a ticket:

1. Tap Tickets > select a ticket to open.
2. Tap the arrow in the top right-hand corner > Split Ticket.
3. Tap the item(s) you’d like to move to a new ticket > Split New Ticket. Repeat this for each new ticket.
4. Tap Save at the bottom of each ticket, or Save All at the top right-hand corner.

We use 3 of the square terminals so I'm guessing this isn't possible on the terminals?

This feature isn't available on the Terminal right now @Thj, so you'd still need to split by amount.
