Feature: Add a countdown in website templates

The title of this thread has been edited from the original: Don't you guys think it's true?

I certainly believe that sales will increase if the square team added a countdown in the website templates. It increases sale and benefits the community of sellers in general.

Thanks for your post. Can you elaborate a bit on what the count down would be used for?

Would it be used for item launches, or discounts? This seems like an intriguing feature, so please reply with some more info.

Yep! you got it @isabelle . I thought it would be nice to have a countdown in the product page. In other words, the seller will set it at any time and for any time period to make sure that buyers rush to the checkout for any special products.

Hey @Tovo! Thanks for the reply with some more detail. I think this would be a beneficial feature for a lot of our sellers.

By moving it to the Feature Request thread it will give visibility to the Weebly and Online Store team. If they're already working on it, they'll definitely make an announcement when this becomes available.

Is there any Countdown Timer I can add to my Square Online Store?

This would be used for displaying deadlines for sales and sign-ups
