Feature Request: Improved Desktop Calendar UI for All Staff View

Problem

We are a hair salon that depends on the coordination of a schedule to operate our day-to-day business. For that reason, we "live" in the desktop view of the calendar at our reception desk where all stylists can see it. Because we are a small salon with limited space and chairs, we treat the schedule as a puzzle. We also depend on "power-booking" in order to maximize revenue. The current desktop calendar UI is "squished" and difficult to read with as many staff member as we have. The mini calendar that shows in the column to the left is redundant because one can click on the date scroller above to get a drop-down calendar when needed. Unless there is a pending requested appointment below it, then the space below is completely blank. This seems to be valuable screen real estate being used by something less important that is already accessible through another path. Additionally, the all staff calendar does not scroll horizontally so as we have more staff members, the staff columns become more condensed, especially with overlapping appointments and one cannot quickly understand the appointment flow of the day without clicking into individual appointments.

How Might We

How might we design a desktop calendar that allows team members to quickly understand and orchestrate the appointment forecast of the day, or even week, for the entire salon/business no matter how many staff members or over-lapping appointments there are?
