Streamlining new customer adding through invoicing

Right now we have to create a new customer, fill everything in and then create new invoice to invoice them.  Would there be a way to make this more of one process?  I'm thinking - create new invoice and where you enter the customer the popup that appears when creating a new customer comes up.  Otherwise, right now you can enter a name and email in the invoice but if we could streamline it by making it combined it would save a few steps.  The opposite could work, have a create invoice button as part of creating the customer, though I think the other way around would be more useful.  After all, you usually aren't doing one without the other, right?
