Adjusting inventory by Size/Volume Sold

How do I stock for a certain item (in my case, Chocolate ice cream) and adjust the inventory for the size sold?  Right now it looks like I have to have to seperate the stock by the price but I want to stock for an overall category and adjust the inventory based on the volume that is sold.

Hello @sundaebest! You're right, there isn't currently a way to stock for a category in this way. One of our great Super Seller's @pessosices shared how they've set up their item library at his ice cream (and ices!) store over in this thread: How to be set up items variations and modifiers. I believe they track inventory by the tub using a second location. I hope this helps you get started!

Having trouble figuring out how to track inventory based on sizing.

For instance:

A regular glass of beer uses 14oz from the keg vs a sampler uses 4oz

Am I just SOL and need to track this by hand?

Hey @POGBrew! Welcome to the Community.

I moved your post to an existing relevant thread I found with the same question.

Check out @Helen's answer above and for some workarounds other sellers have used!
