Battery care during the winter

Hello All,

I typically sell at farmers markets which leaves me not using my square contactless chip reader for a few months during the winter months. What is the best way to care for the device that won’t stunt the battery when I’m not using the device?

I would leave it in a temperature-controlled place like your house so the battery doesn't go thru freezing heat cycles sitting in a car in the winter.  Plug it in to charge the day before you will need it again so it is full and ready to go.
