Can I make a customer account that will allow special pricing for that customer?

I run a brick & mortar Hardware store. I often get returning contractors. I would like to make their own customer account where when they shop, I can access their account and have their special pricing show up along with their tax exempt number.  Is this possible to make in POS?

Right now I have to go in and make a discount for the whole order and take off tax.  It would look better for accounting for them to see a tax exempt line vs no taxes. And not every contractor gets the same costs, due to if they are a wholesaler or not.

You can include all of that info in their customer profile for reference but there's no way to apply it to checkout unfortunately. 

I can see how a feature like this will make for a more convenient checkout experience for you and a more personalized experience for your customer.
