Can I verify that a payment made with a card via a sent invoice is valid?
I received a request for a quote for some goods. It's not an insane amount but it's a 1500.00 sale. I want to make sure that the payment is legit but have no idea how to do that.
If you convert the quote/estimate into an invoice and the customer pad the invoice and the balance is in your account you are good to go.
There unfortunately is no "pre-auth" option with Square at this point in time. So if you are planning on doing a recurring payment or milestone feature with payments set up just beware.
