Does expired orders exist in the new Weebly store?

@JustinC 

 

I saw you replied to someone regarding the orders on the new Weebly website. Our old Square Store had an expiration date of 7 days to get our orders shipped out to customers and if we did not fulfill those orders, they would expire and the customer would have to reorder. 

 

Can you confirm that if we are using the new Weebly site and going to ship items from the Weebly store, that those orders will not expire in the Weebly store after a certain amount of time?

 

It seems like you are the only person from Square who knows what is going on...My team has talked to 6 different support team members and no one can answer this question.

I talked with one of our Ecom Specialists who confirmed that orders do not have an expiration date with the new Online Store powered by Weebly - you can take as long as you want to fulfill an order. 

 

The feature where an order expires and is automatically refunded died along with the Legacy Online Store.

Last year we had an on-line order that was waiting on an approval, and after 60 days it automatically expired and the customer was refunded.

 

This year we are in the same situation: it will be 60 days after an order has placed that we can fulfill it, so the orders are still marked as "pending".  I thought I had read somewhere that online orders taken through the new Weebly store did not expire, but I can't find it.

 

Can someone please confirm or clarify if/when on-line orders expire?
