Hi everyone!
I’ve recently traveled to Ecuador, I encountered that I cannot use my Square Card there, I attempted to make a purchase but Square declined the transaction due to a “Unsupported Country” issue, even if MasterCard is widely accepted there and also Ecuador official currency is U.S. Dollars.
Supposedly, as it says on the website, I can use my Square Card everywhere MasterCard is accepted but apparently not in Ecuador.
I want to ask the Square Card Team to please look into it and hopefully enable the use of the card in Ecuador soon.
If someone also experienced something similar in another Latin American country please reply this discussion so Square Card Team notice us.
