Gift Cards and Quickbooks

I've only used the square app for debit/credit purchases.  This year, I wanted to simplify things and track all sales through square, including cash and cheques.  I recently sold an egift card and customer paid with cash.  She got her receipt and gift card number.  When I look in quickbooks, its obviously been posted somewhere because my numbers are all in line but I dont know where.  Square automatically set up the gift card liability account but it is $0.00.  Anyone else have this issue?  Quickbooks support has been most unhelpful.

I don't have much experience with Quickbooks software, and typically I'd recommend reaching out to their support team. Although it sounds like you've already gone down that route. I've searched other threads in the community for an answer, but I couldn't find one. Hopefully another seller that uses QB's can chime in. 🙂
