Last month my magstripe reader was working on my Ipad 3, ios 9.3.5, but somehow, it doesn't work since July. I called Square said, reader only works on ios 12, but my ipad can't upgrade to ios12.
I have a android phone, doesn't work with reader.
Then I bought a contactless rader $59, but still doesn't work with my phone.
just want to return this new rader, I found it works, then I tried sever times, finally find a new way to use it. but after the reader power off, should re-setting again for everytime.
it is fine, I will keep this reader to use. I think this can fix most of users' connecting issue, too.
