How do I apply recurring payments to items in our item list?

Now that recurring invoice payments are available, how do we apply recurring payments for our service items that we are applying cost for. For us it is essential because some of our services we cannot put online because there is no way to charge on a monthly or annual basis.

The ability to automate or apply a recurring payment to a specific item is not available at this time. For now, the only way to set up a recurring payment by creating an invoice. I can certainly see how being able to apply this feature to an item would unlock the ability for you to offer more services online.
