How do we opt out of the payroll holiday

we process our payroll through square and my employees do not wish to participate in the payroll holiday. How do we opt them out of that?

Hi @Wvcupcake! There is no action required if your employees do not want to participate in the deferral of the employee portion of Social Security taxes.

It's also important to note that employers are not required to offer the deferral, and the Executive Order does not provide a right for employees to demand that an employer offer this deferral. There is no penalty if an employer or their employees chooses not to participate.
