How long does it take for a charge to go through after changing my business name?

I HAVE CHANGED THE NAME OF MY BUSINESS ON MY READER, AND AFTER 24 HOURS, I STILL CANNOT PROCESS A CARD BECAUSE MY TITLE BEFORE WASN'T ACCURATE ENOUGH FOR THE COMPANY CARD.  HOW LONG DOES IT TAKE? DO I WAIT OR JUST GET ANOTHER ACCOUNT?

Hey @mbtmn, I can provide some insight into this issue. 

Just so I have this clear, you're because a credit card has restrictions on the types of business it can be used at? 

If so you will need to change your MCC (Merchant Category Code) to something that defines your business. Changing your business name will just reflect the name on bank statements and receipts.
