If WooCommerce is your eCommerce website provider you can sync WooCommerce with Square to accept payments online. WooCommerce is free! The fee for payments processed with Square via your WooCommerce online store is 2.9% + $0.30.
When your accounts are connected, you’ll be ready to accept online payments instantly. You’ll see your sales deposited in your bank account as soon as 1-2 business days.
To connect your Square and WooCommerce accounts follow these steps:
- Sign in to your WooCommerce dashboard.
- Go to WooCommerce > Extensions > Settings > Integration > Square.
- Select Connect with Square then log in with your Square username and password, and click Allow on the permissions page.
- When prompted, select That’s my site - redirect me.
- Once your account is authenticated, fill out the remaining fields in the Authentication tab.
- Enable Square as your payment option: Go to the Checkout tab and click Enable.
