How to hide an item on Square Terminal? How to find an item on Square Terminal?

Is it possible to only show items from certain categories on the Square Terminal or, alternatively, is it possible to hide items from showing on the Square Terminal?

Also, why do we have to search on the Square Terminal for items, as opposed to being able to select a category from a Home Screen?

With a long list of items, it is making the Square Terminal almost unusable as a table service tool as our staff are having to do a text search for every item when a customer places an order.

At the top of the item list there is a drop down category menu. 

Simply pick the category you want & it will only show that. 

A grid similar to the Android app is a current feature request that I think is being worked on. Have you seen the beta area? It might be worth signing up to that as you’d get an early viewing into some of the newer features.
