Hello everyone
I bought a spare stand several years back but never used it. I thought it was for iPad Air but when I plugged one in, it didn't power it. How can I find out what version this Stand is and therefore what iPad is it designed for?
Thanks!
Thierry

Do you have the first generation iPad Air or the Air 2? Here is an Apple guide to help you identify the model you have.

Thanks for replying to my post.
My question is about identifying the stand, not the iPad. My iPad that I placed in that stand is an iPad Air and the stand did not recognized it.

@ThierrLRC If the stand has a curved back for the iPad to fit in, it's a first generation Stand. I would look at our Square Stand shop page to see which iPad will fit in which stand.

Thank you for the suggestion. I did find out that it was designed for an iPad Air. The problem is one of connection not incompatibility.
Thanks to all. I will withdraw my question.
