Is it possible to take Mobile payment without contactless chip reader ?
We have a square stand with IPAD. No contactless chip reader. Is it possible to take Mobile payment ? One of my employee swear that one customer did it. I read, ipad do not have NFC chip, Bluetooth does not support mobile payment.
Sorry for the delay @squareuser28! If you have the Square Stand you can accept cards by swiping the card on the Stand or manually entering the payment to the app on your iPad.
I'm not quite sure what you mean by mobile payment? To accept contactless payments (NFC) like Apple Pay the Square Contactless and Chip Card reader is required.
