Is there a way to set up pricing based on Customer Group?

We are currently using Vend, and want to move to Square. I'm trying to figure out how to accomplish something.

In Vend, the have a price book. You assign special pricing for items, and assign it to a customer group. For us it's employee pricing, which varies by item, so we can't do a flat discount.

When you are processing a transaction, you choose the employee in the customer list, and the special pricing takes affect.

Is there a way to accomplish this in Square? I see that there is a discounting function in Beta, but I'm not sure if it will accomplish what we are trying to do.

There is not a way to automatically do this by customer group.  you would have to have an alternate price on the item the cashier could choose at checkout, the default being regular price, but there isn't a way to make it automatic by the customer.
