I lost my reader. Can I buy a new one and just have it start working or must it be programmed.
there is nothing to change on the reader, just buy one off the shelf and connect it to your phone or tablet that is logged into your square account and you are good to go.
Readers are ready to work right out of the box. Take it out, plug it into your phone/tablet and you're good to go.
I lost one of my reader and the other one broke trying to see how to find out if I had insurance on it
