Rehire same employee in Square; Payroll will not reactivate due to duplicate SSN detection

I am trying to reactivate an employee through square payroll but system will not allow because it detects duplicate SSN????  How can this person be added?

This would be something I would recommend calling in to our Customer Support team about. You can reach out directly to them at 1-855-700-6000. Please keep in mind, you will need a customer code to get an advocate on the phone. Here is the link to get that code:  squ.re/howtocontact.

 

They would be able to connect you Payroll Support, so they can take a deep dive on this issue.
