Set up w/o Tax id?

Are you able to set up a Square reader without a Tax ID? Like for a garage/yard sale?

Hi @Asfrn - You must provide either a Social Security number (SSN) or Individual Taxpayer Identification number (ITIN) in order to sign up and accept payments with a Square account. You can choose to provide either, but it is required to submit at least one of them.
