When using Square Payroll, is there an option for a seasonal business to show no hours worked until June, other than clicking zero pay each week?

Great question @Karensue0604!
Our Payroll Support Team can help so you aren't charged for months when you don't use Payroll. Call the team and they'll help with the next steps!
Square will continue filing your quarterly tax returns and prepare your year-end returns, including W-2s. When you’re ready to start paying employees again, call the the team again ansd you can pick up where you left off!

Hey there, @BruceLee -
Correct, you don't need to do anything until you have Payroll to submit. Normally, you will still have the Payroll subscription to pay - even if you don't use it. Since COVID-19 has impacted our sellers, Square has waived them for March.
Please let me know if you have any other questions about this.

You mean the monthly $35 cannot be waived if we don't pay employees? We are a seasonal business and the gaps are not COVID-related.
