Takeaways and Swag: what do you use?

I recently came across this article from Bon Appetit: The Best Way to Remember a Meal Is to Steal the Pen. 🖊 It's all about how branded pens have totally replaced the branded matchbook, and how businesses are encouraging their customers to take pens with them as a way to keep their brand top of mind. 

As the owner of a purse filled with several branded pens...this got me thinking, does everyone use pens? I see a lot of branded resusable shopping bags out there too - what other swag do you give out? What has been successful for you and what do your customers like to receive?

I am just now thinking about swag.  Coffey cups with my logo. 

DeCaffSilver . My name is Dee Coffey and DeCaff has been a nickname for over 40 years, the name just stuck. So naturally DeCaff and Coffee , made since to me, however I'm a artistic jeweler, Does a coffee mug with my logo sound like a good swag to give away? 

I also thought about jewelry cleaning clothes with logo.

Aside from branded pens, I've found that printed notebooks and mugs work well, too. Using promotional products is an effective marketing strategy as they serve as tangible reminders of your brand, increasing brand recognition and recall among recipients. Additionally, they can create a sense of goodwill and appreciation, fostering positive relationships with customers and potential clients. Also, it's nice to see your logo on everyone's notebooks when you're having a meeting!
