I am curious if you can sell a used car through my business with the square reader. I have had several calls lately with people wanting to buy a car with there credit card. If so, how would the paper work on that work? Just seeing if anybody out there has any info on this or could direct me in the right direction, Thank you.

I don't know why you couldn't process a credit card payment through Square for a car purchase.  Whatever paperwork is necessary for selling a car, however, would need to be completed in the same way you would normally process the transaction.  You could email or text a receipt for the credit card part.

@pottsb657 Selling cars is completely fine with Square! The paperwork would need to be handled on your end however. 

The only other thing that comes to mind is that Car Sales are pretty high ticket items, and all Square merchants start off with an initial per-transaction limit of $50,000.

There aren't any deposit maximums.
