Why can't I buy a simple £50 Bluetooth printer for square functionality?

I have a huge event in January and my budget is £2k. If I buy the square recommended printers it goes to £2.5K and that's not including another square reader and docking station!!! I think you should be able to use any BT printer and not be forced to spend over the odds on a partnering companies product..... Not thinking of the little man there are they??

Anyone have contact details for PayPal????

Hi @amsingh, welcome to the seller community and thanks for taking the time to bring this up. I'm sorry for the frustration — I can see how cost is important to consider, especially if you only need the hardware for a single event.

While we aren't able to support hardware that isn't listed as compatible, rest assured that I'll be sharing your post with the appropriate team members.
