do clients receive marketing materials?

I am new to using the Appointment service. It's free! yay! But why? Do they send marketing materials to the clients that are in the system?

If you'd like to send marketing materials to your clients, you can do so through our Square Marketing feature. From there, you will have the option to send to a specific audience such as the clients that are in your Appointments customer group.
