I'm a bit partial, so I would say we attempt to be user friendly, and when I was actively running my business, my employees found it easy and straightforward.
You can definitely sell your parts and set up inventory for tracking purposes. Charging for labor you'll want to set some parameters or it may just be adding that custom amount to the sale and leaving it as a variable price. Regardless there are a lot of options to making this work.
