What is the purpose of togetHER?
Square’s mission to provide economic empowerment by leveling the playing field implicitly acknowledges that historically, disadvantages have prevented (and continue to prevent) marginalized groups from accessing the economic marketplace. One of these groups is women. Square as a company celebrates the impact it has on women-owned businesses by highlighting how its mission affects female business owners and how it empowers its own female employees.
We are creating a space in the Seller Community that takes into account the realities of the unique challenges that women-identifying business owners face. This group will go beyond the typical support questions seen in the community and encourage the sharing of challenges and successes.
Who is a member of this group?
Members are those who have expressed interest by filling out this form [link]. We have both women-identifying sellers and allies in this group. Our community guidelines [link] apply to this space too, so please remember these as you engage with others. Those who violate those guidelines might have their posting privileges revoked.

If you want to connect with other lady bosses, this group is for you. Women in business can experience unique challenges and we want to know how you’ve surmounted them.
What is expected of me when joining this group?
We’ve found that most people get out of the community what they want to put in to it. Ultimately, it’s up to you how much time you want to dedicate to participating in the group. We’re open to everyone from active participants to “lurkers” just looking for more information that will help their business.
