Texting when order is ready

For takeout orders place in the restaurant, is there a way we can text the customer to notify them when their order is ready. Similar to pagers but via texting. Also similar to online orders where we can mark an order as ready and the customers get notified via text. We want similar capability when a customer orders in our restaurant and waits outside for the food.

As far as I'm aware there's currently no way to do so. You can always recommend this to the Square by contacting their support team where they can pass you over to the proper team, or you can see if any Square staff members see this and pass this on to the development team.
