Feature Request: Change due/receipt screen

Problem:

 

Change due popup does not stay on the screen long enough so we have to resort to having the receipt screen stay on to display the change due, however, most of the time, we forget the screen is on the receipt screen after the previous transaction, and start scanning the next customer's items only to realize at the end that nothing was scanned because the screen was still on the receipt screen.

 

It would be great if the devs were able to make it like many other POS systems where the last transaction's total/change are still on the screen and clear as soon as you start scanning something else. simply put:

 

1. dismiss receipt screen automatically as soon as you start scanning something

 

or

 

2. if you have the skip receipt screen function enabled, have the change due pop up stay up until you start scanning next customer's items.

 

I'm using Square Point of Sale on iPad with Square Stand

@JackSulaiman - ah, I see what you mean. I like that idea 🙂 Not sure if the Product Team is working on enhancing the checkout flow currently, but we can certain send your suggestions to them for tracking.
