My Square Terminal is Frozen to touch screen

I recharged and started the terminal and left it overnight as a recent email suggested to make sure all updates were done as required. When I woke it up today the screen is frozen and will not work as well it will not power off. Please help. We have used this unit is the past with good success but have not used it lately due to covid. Thanks.
