Terminal connected to Square stand is not showing the proper items

We are trying out using a connected terminal to an ipad in a square stand in order to have a customer facing display. 

The problem seems to be that, most often, the total displayed on the terminal when the customer is completing a sale is not accurate. It may show the correct items but the wrong amount or just the totally wrong amount. 

We've tried resetting, restarting, and reconnecting and it seems to be a persistent problem.

Hi. We are having a different problem with the Stand-Terminal connection. We get an error message every time we try send the transaction to the Terminal. Were you able to resolve your problem? We've spent about 5 months with Square support and they haven't come up with a solution yet....
