Recording & Reconciling terminal payments on Calendar/Appointment page

How do I record payment on the Appointments page if the customer paid using the POS terminal? I can see who the customer from the Transactions page but then need to record the appointment as 'paid'.  If I 'Take Payment' from the Appointment, will it record a duplicate sale on the sales report? If so, how do I get around this? Any help is appreciated!

The only way to link a transaction to an appointment at this time is by processing the checkout using the Square Appointments app or via the Calendar within the Square Dashboard. I recommend you submit a Feature Request here. This will help our product team get visibility and track other Sellers with similar interest in your request. 

 

Important: When submitting a request, make sure to include the desired feature, and provide the details of how this feature will help your business succeed (how would you use it and what you expect from it).
