I have a physical shop and sell some personalised products. With these I take a deposit from the customer and then they paid the balance on collection of the item.
With Vend/Lightspeed's POS I was able to enter this as a Layby Sale. E.g. The item price is £50, the amount paid is £20 leaving a balance to pay of £30. When customer collects the sale is retrieved and the customer pays the balance at which point the Layby is completed.
Does anyone know please if I can do something like this using Square POS app or Square for Retail App?
