Card reader

I'm just starting out. For all that have experience with this device I would like to know how has the connection process been?

Hi @Lfc, are you using the card reader that swipes or the chip reader that you insert the card into, or both?

If you’re using the contactless & chip reader then it’s simply a matter of powering on the reader and putting the reader into pairing mode. Then make sure that Bluetooth is on in your device settings. At that point you select the reader and hit pair in the Bluetooth settings. Once you do that then the reader should be listed under hardware when you open square. The other type readers you don’t have to pair since they simply plug into the appropriate port on your device when using square. If you’re using the Square Stand and have the dock then the reader just slides into dock and the dock plugs into the stand hub.
