Hi everyone, thank you for bearing with us while our team works on this issue! I know it has taken longer than expected so I really appreciated your patience.
From the latest update, a new fix has been rolled out. The "On Sale" badge should not display on items without a sale price.
if you have turn off the sale banner indicator, please try toggling them on and republish your site.
Let me know if there is anything else I can do for you!

Hi. If you go to Online / Settings / General. Scroll down to Item Settings. Here you can toggle off the Sale, Low Stock and Out of Stock indicators.

@Shop2020 The on sale tag should only appear when you put a price in the 'sale price' within the items - so might be worth double checking you've got your items set up how you want them too.

Following on from this, is there a way to hide the original price?
My situation is that we are a pub with a bottle shop so our online price is different to the drink in price. I can get this to work by setting the sale price for online but i would quite like to hide the original price on the website.

Hi @MileandaThird, thanks for your post! I had a look on my end but unfortunately at the moment, there isn't a way to hide the original price on the website. I had look for a workaround as well but there doesn't look like there is any that I can see.

Hi, I am having the opposite issue to @MileandaThird , I have added a sale price to some items, some are showing the previous selling price and others aren't and i can't work out what i have done differently. I would like the previous full price to show.

Hmm, that's quite strange. If you haven't yet, I'd recommend republishing the site to see if the change will take effect. If that still doesn't work, can you share a link to the website with me with some examples of where the original & sale prices are showing and where they aren't @MishMash?

Hello, I have recently started an online store for my business. I'm running into the issue of once I remove the sale price, the sale has ended, the "on sale" red tag is till on the items picture. I don't want to turn off the feature because I am still using it for other items. In the item's settings the sale price is a greyed out 0. How do I get the red "on sale" banner to disappear. Price is displaying correctly.

Hey @CassidyHill and @Ash176, thanks for flagging this! I haven't see this before - usually the On sale tag should only be displayed if there's a sale price.
If possible, can you send me a link to the items this is happening to? I can definitely have a further look into this on my end and check with our ECOM specialists team as well.

Currently it is happening to 2018 La Crescent item. There is no sale price, actual price is visible and not crossed out. On Sale red tag is still showing.
Thank you

Hey @CassidyHill, thanks for sharing that! I've escalated this to our ECOM specialists team so they can look into it further as I couldn't see anything that is causing the 'On sale' tag to appear. Once I have an update from the team, I'll follow up on this thread immediately.

I'm having the same problem. I removed the sale price and the red tag is still there. I guess this is a system-wide problem?

Sorry to hear you are running into this as well @MarySRQ! This is a known issue that our engineering team are actively investigating and working to roll out a fix.
Would you mind sharing a link to your website with me so I can flag it to the team as well?

I'm having the same problem! When I remove the sale price on the item (change back to $0) the "On Sale" tag is still showing.

Thanks for letting us know @Purplegoldfish! Our engineering team are working on this particular problem with the 'On Sale' tag showing even when there is no sale price.
I don't have any concrete update just yet, but I'll follow up on this thread when I have more information from the team. If possible, would you mind sharing a link to your website with me so I can share it with the engineering team too?
