My recently purchased magstripe reader says the code has already been claimed

Is there actually any way to contact customer support to get the $10 credit? My redemption code that came with my magstripe reader says it's already been used/redeemed but I bought it brand new so I don't know what the issue is and there doesn't seem to be any way to reach out to customer support to get an answer

There should be a yellow banner at the top of your Square page that says that phone support is currently unavailable.  You can check on the status of Square's various functions at issquareup.com.  Once their phone support is back up, you will be able to contact them.
