Wholesale & retail inventory

Let’s imagine we have 10 apples.
Customer A buys only 1 apple, with retail price of $10.

Customer B buys 5 apples, with wholesale price can be of $8.

Now we sold 6 apples.

The inventory should be 10-6 = 4 now.

HOW do we do this? We need this!

Thanks for your question! Reminds me of story problems in math class. 🍎

You'll want to do two things with the item to make sure it works how you want:

  1. Make sure you have added stock for your Apples item, that way the number of available is updated whenever you sell applies.
  2. Create discounts that you can use for your wholesale customers. Using discounts will allow you to sell the item at a lower price but still use a single inventory pool.

Let me know if you have any questions!

we sell shampoo and haircare products but discount them when bundled.  So I incorporated a 3 tier discount system (10%, 20%,  50%).

One of your discounts can even be labeled “wholesale price”
