Over the past two months, this change has been noticed. I thought maybe it was temporary due to an update but it still remains an issue. Because the POS does not indicate who is logged in, we have had issues in recording cash ins and cash outs and closing register drawers with reports showing the wrong employee as the one responsible for the action.
Prior, the system would display info relevant to the employee logged in by showing it at the bottom right corner. Now it just says logged in without indicating an employee.
Any help reverting back would be greatly appreciated.

At this time with our New Experience, the logged-in employee is displayed under the More section of the app. It would be considered a feature request to have it visible as it was before.
We understand this is affecting your business so in the meantime you may revert to our previous experience following these steps:
On your Square Point of Sale application head to More > Settings > Checkout > Revert to previous experience.
This should bring you back to our previous layout while our team works on improving employee management on our Newer app experience.
