do i need register?

I need to buy a system to keep track of sales & also need a cash drawer. I would like to be able to take the unit to the tabletop. And, I want some sort of inventory tracking. Do i buy Square Register? Terminal or a mini kit? Please help. I have read everything on all these items but am still not sure. My business is a small bar & grill. Thanks.

We are a full service restaurant which also does catering. We bought the Register when we launched Square in April 2018.  We also purchased two iPads/Stands for remote entry by servers.  All three devices have a printer and are networked to a kitchen printer. It works beautifully.  We do occasionally take the Stands table side for payment but it is kind of clunky. We are really interested in the Terminal for table side so that might be our next purchase.
